Carmel Neuropsychology Services, P.C. is a specialized clinical neuropsychology practice created to provide diagnostic, rehabilitation and psychotherapy services to those with cognitive, behavioral, and/or psychological problems.
The practice currently serves the lifespan, providing services for those as young as just born all the way to the end of life, for individuals with neurologic or psychological basis for their symptoms.
Not only do we work with different neurologic and psychological problems, but we also aid those who are functioning well but wish to optimize their performance, whether it be at school, in work, in relationships, in a professional sports capacity, or at a specific life goal.
We offer a tiered approach to evaluation with our most comprehensive services providing differential diagnosis, determination of functional impact of the individual's strengths and weaknesses, and development of a personalized treatment plan based on the individual's functioning. Our objective and empirically validated approach avoids the common pitfalls of wasted time for the patient as well as generally ineffective treatment typical of those based on a subjective or black box approach. We utilized a comprehensive, empirically validated, and objective approach in order to provide the most accurate diagnosis and functional understanding of abilities.
Therapeutic modalities include behavioral management, psychotherapy (many modalities), and cognitive rehabilitation. We utilize empirically validated state of the art interventions to ensure the best outcome for our patients.
There is a strong emphasis at CNS to utilize a holistic and systems approach, involving – as appropriate and possible – members of the family, school, community, or other systems which results in long-term changes and improvement. Our focus is to encourage the brain to improve and heal itself without dependence on external aids.

This is a cost savings to patients and allows for focused and efficient treatment implementation.
We also offer discounted services as noted on the new patient paperwork.
This policy allows patients to receive timely treatment on average 3 to 9 months faster.
We see patients on a first come first serve basis.
